Join our dynamic law firm as a Billing Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Firm's financial operations. This position partners closely with attorneys, legal secretaries, and the Finance team to ensure timely, accurate billing across a wide range of client matters. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Generate, edit, and finalize monthly pre-bills and invoices-including electronic and complex billing-while partnering with attorneys, clients, and internal teams.
  • Monitor unbilled time, manage billing and collections for assigned clients, and resolve billing issues with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain billing reports, reconciliations, schedules, and analyses; apply retainers and process write-offs in accordance with Firm policy.
  • Create and manage customized billing formats and support special or client-driven billing projects.
  • Bring at least three years of law-firm billing experience, including proficiency with Aderant or Elite, and the ability to interpret engagement letters and complex rate structures.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, experience working directly with attorneys, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and adaptability to evolving technology.
